The Dando Dual Mast Terrier has been designed to use a wide range of drilling techniques in the same borehole, using the tried and tested Terrier drive sampling system and powerful rotary drill alternately without having to change masts.
Designed to trip out drilling equipment in 4m lengths using the telescopic winch system, the Dual Mast Terrier operates by hydraulically sliding the drive sampler or rotary drill into position over the borehole when required. With this new innovative machine it is possible to sample and perform a standard penetration test to a depth of 20m+ and core to approximately 50m.
Occupying a small footprint, the compact and extremely versatile rig is designed to still be easily transportable and simple to manoeuvre through tight spaces with difficult access, causing very little disturbance to its surroundings.
The hydraulic side shift system allows the drive sampler to be positioned over the borehole when required.
Compact, easily manoeuvrable crawler mounted design allows the rig to work and track indoors
